Building strong communities since 1982

Art. Education. Health. Leadership.

The Association of Exchange and Development of Activities and Partnerships (AEDAP®) builds programs that prioritize youth, parents, seniors, and women — in Miami-Dade County and across Haiti.

Our mission

Strong partnership builds strong communities.

AEDAP is a leadership concept that existing community organizations apply to develop partnerships and collaboration — both in the United States and Haiti. We are a global model where youth, parents, seniors, and women all thrive.

About AEDAP.

The Association of Exchange and Development of Activities & Partnerships, Inc. (AEDAP®) was founded in February 1982 by Jean Th. Lindor — originally as Association Et Encadrement Pour Le Developpement De L'Arrière Pays.

For more than forty years, AEDAP has built bridges between the Haitian-American community in Miami-Dade County and partners across Haiti — supporting emergency response, educational outreach, cultural programming, and health initiatives.

Today AEDAP is led by Dr. Flore Lindor-Latortue, continuing her father's vision of partnership-driven community development in both countries.
